• Washing Essentials: A good quality car wash soap; two buckets, one for washing and the other for rinsing; a good set of microfiber wash mitts; and drying towels.
• Cleaning Products: Heavy-duty degreaser for tough stains, wheel cleaner, glass cleaner, multipurpose interior surface cleaner, and leather cleaner in conditioner (if needed).
• Polishing and Waxing: Clay bar to help remove any contaminants from the surface, polishing compound to fix any minor scratches, and car wax to give the surface a deeper shine.
• Additional Supplies: Polishing and waxing microfiber towels (not for washing), tire shine, and an and an air compressor for cleansing specific cavities.

• Minimizing Scratches: The two-bucket method serves to keep the wash mitt dirty and thus not scratch the paintwork while washing the car.

• Polishing: Polishing removes minor scratches, swirl marks, and oxidation from the paintwork. Use a polishing compound with a microfiber applicator pad in a circular motion, following the paint lines. Be mindful not to over-polish, as this can remove the clear coat.
