Beaches in South Lombok

  • Kuta Beach

Never to be confused with the far cuter Kuta Beach in Bali, Kuta Beach, Lombok, is also home to beautiful beaches with powdery white sand and rocky cliffs that rise dramatically from Sunset seas! Situated on the southern shore of this island, Kuta is a wonderful spot to shoot some surfing courses, particularly if you’re a newcomer. Additionally, there are a number of boat excursions that can take you island hopping.

Kuta is a really common location for travellers to base on the island and can be consequently blessed with a substantial variety of amazing backpacker hostels, in addition to many boutique guesthouses and much more lavish resorts. Overall, it is an excellent destination for a few chilled out beach periods in Lombok!

  • Selong Belanak

A lovely strip of shore in a comparatively uninhabited portion of the island, so you can anticipate a quiet time around Selong Belanak. Your beach mates are likely to be novice surfers (the waves are extremely kind to the newcomer ) and buffaloes. The very first of those companies might well join you in one of those pubs that dot the sand.

  • Tanjung Aan

A crescent-shaped piece of white sand, Tanjung Aan is just another beautiful beach, outfitted with a couple of laid-back warungs (local pub and cafe ). A couple of people have complained about continuous sellers hanging out on Tanjung Aan, such as reports of scams and theft (especially linked to parking watch out!).

  • Seger

Especially suggested because of its magnificent sunset-viewing possible, as a result of some mountain that is convenient, Seger is a fantastic small stone. Among the more deserted beaches on the island, you will find many crumbling huts for your urbex fans.

Beaches Around Senggigi

  • Nipah

Around a 20-minute driveway from Sengiggi, you visit Nipah. Unsurprisingly, Nipah provides a much quieter shore experience than that which you discover in Senggigi itself. On the other hand, the major draw here is that the fish, with sailors cooking their catch-all day over the shore. Costs may fluctuate, but should you assess what you expect to cover before you purchase, you can end up with a tasty sizzling plate of broiled fish at a gratifying rate.

  • Pantai Pandanan

A small bit farther up the shore from Nipah is Pandanan Beach. Generally quieter still plus a favourite with families. A wonderful place to see the sunset!

  • Kecinan

There are a couple of different draws for the ones that visit Kecinan Bay. It is a favourite dive spot, although only acceptable for advanced divers. Lionfish, scorpionfish along with the loveable nudibranch go to the submerged attractions. There are speed ships operating into Gili Air that release from the port. Above all, however, is your “Selfie Coconut Tree”, supplying Instagrammers with smug shots of these halfway across a shrub (picture search “Kecinan Beach” and you will see what we mean). Tacky, done to death, however, undeniably attractive!

Whether your trips take you to a long walk on beaches, delicious cuisines, relaxing spas and resorts or urban attractions, additional research will give you the best experience for your visit. Let’s know more about Lombok by visiting Wonderful Indonesia.
